American Advantages:
The Americans had many advantages throughout the Revolutionary War. They fought on their own ground which was huge because they knew the land very well and they knew where everything was. They knew all of the "hiding spots" and the most obvious "hiding spots" where the British would hide; the Americans could attack them off guard with this advantage. Another advantage was having a widespread acquaintance with Firearms. This was one of the top most important ones because having an acquaintance with firearms meant that they had firearms and they had more than the British. The firearms they used were guns and cannons which helped them defeat the British by killing off most of the British soldiers so they could win.
Superior riffles were another big firearm advantage that the Americans had as well. The superior riffles were used for accuracy and precision. These riffles also got really good range so the Americans could hid far in a tree top or somewhere further away and still shoot and and kill the British with the same force as being up close to them. Last but not least, the advantage that they had the best was having the experience from the French and Indian War. This experience helped them greatly because they remembered what they had to do, they saved some of their fighting tactics, and they became smarter from that experience. Having all these advantages helped the Americans win the Revolutionary War and they each helped greatly. This win was the best one for Americans and if gave us the freedom that we have today!

British Advantages:
Just like the Americans, the British also had many advantages. Being well trained and having a disciplined force was a big advantage for the British. Being disciplined and being well trained gave the soldiers the mind set of not running from anything or towards anything. They listened to their head general and they followed the orders of what they were supposed to do. Having the best Navy was and advantage of having supply lines and they had a better chance of protecting the coast so the Americans couldn't bombard them. Protecting the coast was a big thing because they had to make sure that stayed secure so they could keep everything and everyone safe.
Co-operation with the Loyalists and the Indians was a big advantage as well. This co-operation helped the British with supplies, helped them with gaining soldiers if they needed, and it helped with the smaller fights. For example: the Loyalists fought the colonists during the Battle of Monmouth. Last but not least, being able to higher foreign troops known as Hessians. These foreign troops helped the British a lot with making the army bigger in size with more soldiers for use. The Hessians were also smart in what they did; being foreign, they had knowledge about wars that the British and the Americans did not have. This knowledge was very useful for the British in defeating the Americans in a few battles. All of these advantages were useful during the war in winning some of the battles, but they were not big enough advantages to allow them to win the Revolutionary War.
