Who is George Washington?
George Washington is one of our four founding fathers of the United States. George Washington served as president of the United States. Washington was elected president unanimously. He sereved a total of two terms which began in 1789 and ended in 1797.
After the war broke out with the Battles of Lexington and Concord in April 1775 he began to serve as the commander-in-chief of the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War. Congress discussed who should lead the army and because of Washington's prestige, military experience, charisma he was chosen.
